    Civil Law systems, also known as continental or Romano-Germanic legal systems, are found in all the constitutions all over the world in all the continents and its cover the 60% approximately of the world. They are based on categories, categorical concepts and the rules which are derived mostly from Roman Law, with some influence of canon law, and sometimes largely supplemented or modified by local custom or culture specific to an area. The civil law tradition places more focus on individual freedom and promotes cooperation between human beings. 

    Civil Law is meant to be the part of the legal system which is related to personal matters like marriage, property laws e.g.  activities rather than crime. It is the law of a state for private and civilian affairs. There are few kinds of civil laws including Property Law, Property Law, Contract Law, Family Law. The Contract Law, it deals with the agreements made between two or more people. Property Law belongs to real property such as Land. Family law is related to marriage, divorce, child custody, etc. Tort Law is a section of civil law that is concerned with personal injury or civil wrongdoing. 

    A Civil Case includes a Legal Dispute between two or more parties. A civil action is started when a party files a financial or monetary case against other party. A civil case involves a person or business called the “plaintiff” and the other one is called defender. These are the two parties in a Civil Case. In civil cases, both parties represent themselves, with the assistance of a civil attorney or legal counsel. A civil case is handled by a civil lawyer or attorney. A civil attorney plays a vital role in handling civil suits relating to personal injury, family, real estate, employment, and other legal cases. Civil lawyers go through years of formal education, civil suit attorneys defend the interests of their clients with their knowledge and appropriate application of the law.     A civil attorney or litigator deals with a non-criminal legal dispute. These disputes usually involve a party seeking compensation for damages incurred by another party or entity. The nature of civil disputes mostly focuses on people, relationships, and property issues. Using their substantive knowledge of procedural law, civil attorneys are approached to synthesize complex facts and materials to best represent the interests of their clients. 

    The job of a civil rights attorney is to provide counsel to clients, inform them about their legal options, and represent them in their respective courts. Civil lawyers have to also draft legal documents, conduct research, negotiate settlements, and file appeals. Civil attorneys are different from criminal attorneys as criminal attorneys deal with an individual’s criminal offense against the public, state, or society as a whole. Whereas, civil attorneys involve themselves with disputes related to wrongs committed between individuals within a society.

    Commercial Case is another type of financial cases. Where business to business cases are filled between two companies. These are different than Civil Cases in nature. These Cases must be discussed with the attorneys before planned. Even though the cases are planned by attorneys always, but never make up your mind this regard.
